CSA Portfolios
CSA portfolios are the leadership teams that drive the vision and operations of the Commerce Students’ Association at the Asper School of Business. Each portfolio oversees key initiatives and committees, ensuring programs are well-planned, impactful, and aligned with the needs of commerce students.
Through strategic planning, collaboration, and leadership, portfolios play a central role in enhancing academic, professional, and social life at Asper. Students involved gain valuable experience in decision-making, team management, and organizational leadership while contributing to a stronger, more connected student community.
President's
The President’s Portfolio provides strategic leadership, coordination, and advocacy for commerce students within the Asper School of Business. This portfolio focuses on guiding the overall direction of the CSA, supporting effective council operations, and ensuring student voices are represented to faculty and administration. Through collaboration and oversight, the President’s Portfolio plays a central role in aligning initiatives and supporting the success of all CSA activities.

Internal
The Internal Portfolio focuses on fostering a strong, inclusive, and well-functioning council environment. This portfolio supports internal operations, council development, and team cohesion while ensuring alignment with the CSA’s strategic vision. By prioritizing equity, representation, and internal engagement, Internal Relations helps create a supportive experience for council members and the broader Asper community.

Finance
The Finance Portfolio is responsible for ensuring the financial viability and long-term sustainability of the CSA. This portfolio manages budgeting, financial controls, and accounting processes to ensure sufficient funding is available to support CSA events and services. It also oversees online ticketing and financial analytics to support informed decision-making.

Corporate Relations
The Corporate Relations Portfolio focuses on building and maintaining partnerships with the business community to support CSA programming. This portfolio develops the Corporate Partners Program and secures sponsorships for events organized by the CSA and Student Groups. Through industry engagement, it helps expand professional opportunities for commerce students.

Marketing
The Marketing Portfolio is responsible for promoting CSA initiatives and maintaining a cohesive brand presence across all council and STAG events. This portfolio develops and executes marketing strategies, manages digital platforms, and produces creative content to engage the Asper community and increase event visibility.

Professional Development
The Professional Development Portfolio delivers conferences and professional networking events that support students’ career growth.
