TCW is held during the first week of classes in September, and includes a number of social and academic events for students to participate in. Asper’s tenth annual TCW will take place September 2nd to 5th.

Since NBSC’s inception in 1993, NBSC brings together the next generation of business leaders to Winnipeg, including Students’ Association Executives and JDC West Captains from Canadian Business Schools.

The 5 Days campaign includes many events and initiatives, the biggest of which being “5 Days Week” in March. In Winnipeg, All of the proceeds raised goes to Resource Assistance for Youth (RaY), who focuses on getting underprivileged youth back on their feet.

The campaign has been going on for over 50 years and during this time span the average life expectancy has increased from just under 5 years to around 50 years. This campaign involves a high level of commitment from not only the Asper community but the University community and the Winnipeg community as a whole. A heartbreaking statistic: Most people diagnosed with cystic fibrosis will have to undergo two doublelung transplants during their lifetime.

Everything came to a halt in 2005, and generations of Commerce Socials Co-Chairs have exhaustively worked to re-develop the brand into what it is today.
